A great place for food, loads of choice. I had the cod loin with chorizo and mushroom risotto and hubby had the rabbit pie, both were excellent and good size portions. We took our three dogs with us and they were more than happy to accommodate us.

Lovely , cosy pub / Inn , very clean and has more private areas if required . All staff are so friendly and helpful . Choice of food is quite extensive , we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals ; I had roast cod loin with parma ham wrapped round and a chorizo risotto . Its great having something different from fish and chips etc . The fish was very fresh tasting and moist and the risotto was well cooked and not too dry or mushy as I have experienced elsewhere . We are all definitely returning , maybe in spring . Thankyou for the wonderful dining experience to all staff at Crispin Inn.

Warmly welcomed despite very muddy walking gear. Lovely warm atmosphere and delicious food. Packed with locals which is always a good sign,

We visited here with another couple on a Saturday night between 7pm and 8pm. There was a good choice of beers and our total bill was £17.70 for two pints of beer and two large glasses of Sauvignon. The food looked appetizing although we didn't eat on this occasion. Well worth a visit.

We stayed in the village for a New years break. We found Paul ( the landlord extremely helpful his local knowledge of the area's walks and places of interest very helpful in a busy traditional pub he still took the time to chat with us) The food was lovely I can recommend the Game pie cooked by Paul's wife Joanne...

We called in for lunch, lovely food reasonably priced. It was very busy for a Monday lunchtime. We had a steak and Stilton cob/roll, which I can highly recommend. The beer to excellent too. The menu is on big chalk boards at the end of the bar and included a special senior citizen menu, two courses for £10 (I think)....
